HANDLING RADIOACTIVE SPECIMENS

I will have you fill out a form stating that you have read the OSHA and MSDS sheets on the nuclear material.

When enjoying your specimens:

  • Keep them in your collection farther than a minimum of 30 cm to 3 m from you at all times.
  • Handle your specimens occasionally.
  • Do not keep the rock in your pocket, as jewelry, next to your body on a piece of furniture  or on your body for more than 3 minutes.  The radiation of my specimens are no more dangerous than a suntan if handled properly.
  • Read the MSDS sheet and the OSHA compliance sheets.
  • Enjoy your specimen with a Geiger counter of scillentation counter.
